Approved provisional agreement for the exchange of driving licenses between Spain and the United Kingdom

The UK and Spain have recently reached a reciprocal agreement which will allow holders of UK issued driving licenses who are resident in Spain to drive for a period of 6 months. This agreement is beneficial to both countries as it helps to promote international cooperation between the two countries.

The exchange request process requires a Psychophysical Fitness Report, issued by a Driver Recognition Center authorized by the DGT and the Junta de Andalucía. This report is a crucial document that determines whether the driver is fit to drive or not. It also helps identify any medical conditions that may affect a driver’s ability to drive safely and responsibly.
